Greetings, Courageous Captains!
Did you ever realize that practicing yoga on your mat involves courage? Think of struggling to hold onto a difficult pose such as Revolved Balancing Half Moon:

There is a belief that the more you practice courage in your yoga, (it could mean just showing up for class after a long hiatus or letting your mind finally go during Savasana,) ​the easier it will be to face risks in your life.
This week we will do Revolved Balancing Half Moon Pose and a 4-7-8 Breath that will help you to enjoy your transitions in between the poses. We’ll delve a little deeper into this idea of courage. Consider the words of Marianne Elliott (yoga teacher and author of Zen Under Fire:)
“Yoga teaches me to stay where I am, to draw strength and courage from my breath, my body, the ground beneath my feet, and the people with whom I practice. These are the same tools we all need to hold steady when life gets scary.”
