Greetings, Seasonal Sensations,
It’s cold. It’s hot. I still have vincas in my flower pots with anxious mums waiting next to them to be planted for Fall. The sweaters and down comforters come out. But by the next night, I am pushing and pulling them off like it was a bad idea to even think of using them.
Seasonal changes are interesting and challenging. We anticipate pumpkin flavored everything (or dread it but I am the former.) We see the colors miraculously change before our eyes. But we aren’t always ready physically or mentally for the fickle, cooler temperatures, the sudden falling leaves and the sometimes unexpected allergies.

One way we can help with balancing the changes around us is to do yoga. Our mats serve as a safe place to experience a check point for how we are handling our seasonal awareness. Our yoga grounds us and helps us to work through any changes, whether they be ones full of happy anticipation or uncertain apprehension.
