Greetings, Snow Sloshers,
Snow in April? Ugh! Our responses sometimes are immediate and expressed without thought: “What did you do that for?” “No way am I doing that!” “What the??!…”
What if I told you that yoga can help you to deal with impulse control and response? That holding a difficult balancing pose, for instance, can lead to practicing better receptivity in your life? i.e. thinking before speaking.

Yoga is a practice of being receptive to your body (in what it can and cannot do) to your mind (in where your thoughts are for that hour or so of yoga) and to your spirit (can I really permit myself to let go for real this time?)
This week in our yoga class, we will focus on poses that demand balance and patience so that we can observe where we are holding on and where we need to release. Come experience a safe place where you can let go of your “Inner Ugh.”
