Releasing Judgement in Yoga

Greetings, Cheeky Cherry Blossoms,
When I took my first yoga training, one of the main principals we learned about was having no judgement about our yoga.
As relaxing and natural as yoga is, you’d think that the concept of judgement would not be a factor. But how often do we find ourselves saying things like, “I am so inflexible!” or “I can’t focus!” or “Why did I eat that burrito before class?”
Releasing judgement and expectations takes practice. Doing yoga can help us to create the space to let go of our judgey monkey chatter. Instead, we can be quiet and enjoy the stillness that we create so that we can accept whatever comes up for us without judgement.
This week, we have two great series that focus on core and metabolism. Let me know which classes you would like to attend. Here is the schedule:
HAPPY NOW YOGA SCHEDULE
Tuesday       9:30-10:45 am   Home studio
Wednesday  7:00-8:00 pm    Barnesville Town Hall
Thursday      9:30-10:45 am   Home studio

Namaste,
Jill
