Practicing Patience with Yoga
Greetings, Receptive Reptiles,
This week in our yoga class we will practice cultivating patience and being receptive. If we sit all day with our backs hunched over with scowls on our faces, we are not as receptive to accepting positive change and handling life’s doings when they don’t go our way.
We’ll start class with Lotus Mudra (think of putting your hands together at the palms and then opening them like a flower) and breathing Blowing Candle Breath to calm our nerves. Tree Pose will help us to find balance in its simplicity. The results? Being more clear and confident in our yoga and off our mats in our hectic, unpredictable worlds!
