Greetings, Calamity Calmers!
What if CALM was your new super power? What if instead of ReACTing to others in times of trouble and stress, you chose to RESPOND? (Notice emphasis on the word ACT in “reacting?” aka yelling, screaming, mumbling under your breath, interrupting, not listening, etc. )

Yoga helps us to feel calm which other people find empowering (or maddening!)  When releasing physical stress, we are able to reACT less and RESPOND with empathy and understanding to others. Our ability to breath deeply and pause for an extra few seconds enables us to slow down and ask, “OK. Now. I hear you. How can I help?”
This week in our yoga, we will focus on poses that bring on the calm like Twisting Triangle and Pigeon Pose. Let me know which classes you would like to attend.
NOTE: Saturday’s yoga class for this week has been moved to Sunday.
