Greetings, Insightful Investigators,

Has a yoga teacher ever said something that really resonates with you? I came across a few words of advice that I want to share with you from some yoga teachers: 

“It’s called yoga practice, not yoga perfect.

“Practice and all is coming.

Your poses are your own.”

“The yoga teacher is a guide to the true teacher within you.

Soften in poses, in life, in effort.”

Even if you do not do yoga, these words can be applied to your day to day life. Paraphrasing:  

Remove the need for perfection. Keep trying but be authentic. Listen to others for advice when you don’t always think that you need it. Soften the effort instead of gripping and fighting it.

Yoga is so much more than just physical stretching. During your yoga practice you can take in as much as you want on a deeper level or you are welcome to forget the theme or advice from the yoga teacher. But usually, without searching for it, a little tidbit of something said makes sense and brings comfort, thought, and insight.
